Uniform Expectations
Shirts (must be tucked in at all times):
Color: Navy blue or white
Style: Polo-style shirt with collar (long or short sleeved), Turtleneck, Peter Pan collar blouse, Reid Park T-shirts only
Pants:
Color: Khaki or navy
Shorts, Skirts, Skorts, Jumpers :
Color: Khaki or navy blue
Length: At or below the knee (girls – must be at or below fingertips)
Sweaters / Sweatshirts:
Color: Navy blue or white
Style: Sweatshirt, cardigan, pullover (must reach to waist). Hoodies and jackets must be a solid, uniform color if they are to be worn all day.
**Sweaters/sweatshirts with logos, writing, pictures, or graphics are not allowed.
Shoes:
Closed-toe shoes, lace-up, buckle, sandal with strap.
Socks, tights or leggings(worn under uniform pants/skirts:
Navy blue, white, khaki or black (solid color only)
Belts:
Buckle, sash, ribbon
Accessories:
Headband: Must be uniform color only
Watches / Bracelets: No bigger than the width of a dollar bill
Earrings : Post or stud earrings only
Necklaces: Must be worn inside shirts
The consequences for not adhering to these policies are as follows:
FIRST OCCURRENCE – The school will change student and a letter will be sent home reinforcing the uniform policy.
SECOND OCCURRENCE – A call home will be made asking parents/guardians to bring in clothes. Parents will be reminded students must adhere to the school uniform policy. Student will go to in-school suspension if parent or guardian is unable to bring uniform clothes to school.
THIRD OCCURRENCE – Parent/guardian is notified of need for change of uniform and asked to bring in an extra uniform set to be kept at school; student will receive in-school suspension.
FOURTH OCCURRENCE – This is considered defiance and Code of Conduct procedures will be applied.
